*(good, that's exactly how I planned it) rana thought* *quietly sinking down towards Raina so she doesn't hear, Rana slices off the demon bat, killing it instantly* *Immediately, Raina begins to gain control of her mind again*

*gasps and cries out in pain and fear, her wings fluttering in panic* Rana! Rana...where are you?! *collapses and sways her head back and forth along the ground, trying to sense the little half-elf*

*rana comes out it front of Raina, holding a swirling sphere in front of her hand* *the swirling motion calms Raina, and slowly soothes her pain* It's alright. Everything's ok now.

*whimpers gently* Rana....Rana, I can't see... *presses the tip of her muzzle to Rana's arm*

OOC: Oh, that's right. I got your eyes, didn't I? whoops... IC: *the swirling sphere splits into two spheres, each covering Raina's punctured eyes* *touching both hands to each sphere, a blinding silver flash emenates (?) from both spheres* *a few seconds later, Raina's vision becomes blurry, then clearer and clearer within a few seconds*

*gasps, her eyes fluttering madly, trying to clear away the fuzziness of her vision. After several seconds she can see. Looks at Rana* Thank you...

*leans down and hugs Raina* You're welcome. Now, we'd better get out of here before more of those creatures come. OOC: Invent some giant monster to block our way, my brain's fried*

*stands, shaking out her tensed, tired muscles. Gently plucking Rana from the ground and placing her upon scarlet shoulders once more, Raina takes wing and heads toward the mountains* We should be able to find a place to rest there... *nears the mountains and, indeed, an enormous cave near the peak, big enough for a dozen dragons. But as they near, two solid golden eyes pierce the cave's shadows. Raina backwings frantically as a great cry pierces the air and a massive black beast lunges from the entrance with shining black wings*

OOC: Ooooh...good one! IC: *rana quickly shields raina with water as they fly away, but the black beast is already angered, and chasing after them* Rana: It's too fast! We need to get down into the trees!

*is torn, not wanting to turn her back upon the beast and expose Rana*

It's alright, I can protect my back. *rana turns around on Raina, facing her tail, and preparing several different attacks for the giant beastie* Into the trees, I can attack better there!

*walks around pointlessly* is any one on?

Silveera get down! There's a monster trying to kill us all! *shoves Silveera into the ground as the giant monster draogn swoops over*

Ahh *screams as Rana pushes me over* *lifts head up and spits out clod of dirt* What the pancake!!

*rana shhhh's silveera, then turns around and faces the sky, lying flat on the ground* *the black giant monster dragon swoops overhead again, searching for its prey* *Silveera can clearly see it this time* OOC: @Raina: sorry...I needed to get us down to the ground. So imagine that you're right next to me and Silveera, crouching low and looking up with the rest of us. @Silveera: That's what you get for popping up in the middle of a dangerous rp!

*blinks and shakes her head violently* Ack...Silveera!! *immediately snaps her maw shut and looks at Rana* What do we do now?

Ummm....we run? *the giant black dragon swoops over again, this time significantly lower, his great mouth open in a huge ROAR that nearly deafens all on the ground* NOW! *rana bursts up and takes off, dashing the other direction* OOC: @silveera and raina: Since you both are dragons, you might want to fly, but fly low, ok?

*rears up and takes wing, flying after Rana for a few moments before turning to look at the great black beast. Looks at Rana and Silveera, then turns up and away, flying toward the black dragon with fire in her eyes and her maw*

*rana, glancing up, notices raina's sudden change in trajectory* Oh crap... *forming a string of water in front of her, rana leaps on and races after raina* *when she is finally beside raina she shouts* I'm jumping on! *and jumps, landing with a slight thud on Raina's back* Alright...lets kill this beast! OOC: this tendril running trick is where I take a tendril of water and form it like a tight rope, so I can walk on it, and make it float in the air below/in front of me, with just enough behind me to keep it balanced. The water is constantly moving forward, making the path continue as I run along it. It wouldn't work for any creature that can't balance on a tightrope (namely...dragons.)

*glances back at Rana and nods* Hold on, little half-elf. *turns and comes up behind their opponent, instantly turning and slamming into its side with bone-jarring force*

*rana shoves two sharpened sword-like tenrils into the spammer-dragon's side, piercing through his scales and drawing huge amounts of blood.

*hisses angrily and tears at the black dragon's wings, ripping through wing membrane and snapping the very ends of the wing-limbs, effectively ticking the beast off further but hindering its flight somewhat. Raina dives down and scores the beast's head with her talons, taking out one of its eyes*

Fly up raina! Fly up!!!! *rana is controlling ten whip-sharp tendrils, whacking at the dragon whenever possible* *sometimes she gets under the scales and draws blood, sometimes not, but she is succeeding very well at distracting the dragon and keeping him turning* OOC: We ned to get where there's very little air, so he can't fly, and then drop on him

*roars and flares her wings, slowing her fall as she turns to fly upward. She runs smack into the dragon and cries out as one of its talons trails down the side of her face, but immediately snaps the beast's foot to pieces between her jaws. She flies up past the beast without looking back, her ascent slowing as the air thins*

*rana holds a healing sphere over Raina's face, healing the deep scratches* *after the scratches are healed, Rana begins to draw in the water of the clouds around her before the black dragon comes up* *as raina and rana begin to lose breath, rana says* Ok, stay at this altitude.Trying getting some water attacks ready while we're here, these clouds are amazing and full of energy.

*pants lightly and nods, summoning the water around her* You work on offense, I'll handle defense. *calls the water to her aid, the strong and energetic particles wrapping around both hers and Rana's forms and protecting them as thoroughly as a mother protects her youngling*

OOC: nice...you're really getting the hang of this water controlling! IC: alright....*summons vast numbers of discs and dart to float around rana, waiting like impatient missiles* *attaches five tendrils to five discs, keeping them as her special weapons* *the other five fingers control five other tendrils to use as whips* *some darts get tendrils attached to them to act as harpoons basically* *one disc has the tendril attached in the middle, giving rana huge amounts of control of this disc* *with a look of expectation, rana glares downward* Alright, ready!

*hisses and waits until the black dragon's panting breath can be heard. She checks her shields one last time before drifting downward and to the side, a stream of flame licking the opponent's face before Rana is close enough to strike. With the beast blinded, Raina comes down on top of the black dragon*

*hundreds of swirling discs attack the black dragon, each slipping under a scale and drawing huge gushes of blood* *five of the discs go for the dragon's throat, where rana slices them under the belly scales* *thousands of drats fly at the black beast, poking, stabbing, and otherwise befuddling the enraged black dragon* *suddenly however, the black dragon is too close, and he snaps at Rana, causing her shoulder to bleed horribly* AAAAARRGHH!!!

*roars in anger and catches the black dragon's neck as he lunges at Rana, her teeth slicing through scales and flesh. As the blood swirls over her tongue her eyes flare wildy as her instincts kick in, the inner beast revelling in the bloodshed. Raina summons the water from the sky and envelopes Rana within a huge sphere, quickly yet carefully dropping her to the earth far below. When the little half-elf is safely out of the way, Raina shifts into a more agile form and flips herself onto her opponent's back, burying her talons into the flesh between his wings. She stands upon the dragon's back and roars around her mouthfull of flesh before violently shaking her head back and forth as a crocodile does to prey. Her wings foul the black dragon's, causing them both to tumble toward the earth at dangerous speeds as she tears his neck to shreds. They plummet toward the earth and with one last jerk she snaps his neck, pushing off of the dead beast's back and watching as it falls to the earth far from Rana*

OOC: what? you're just getting rid of me? hmph! anyway, I need to go get my homework done, so bye for now! IC: *rana runs towards the crashing dragons, keeping well out of thier way but preparing to attack*

OOC: Well, you was hurted and I dunno how to heal, so I thought it was the most practical thing to do. Besides, the stupid beast ticked me off by spilling your blood. You have fun with your homework. lol. IC: *lands next to the dead dragon and looks at Rana, the fire burning down in her eyes* Worry about your wound, Rana. I'd help, but I don't know how to heal...

OOC:...you killed him? T-T IC: *rana holds a small healing sphere over her shoulder, quickly staunching the blood and closing the skin* *after thinking for a moment, Rana makes a huge excited leap in the air* I know! Let's explore his cave! I bet he's got lotsa treasure!

OOC: NO! *grabs dragonness* We're about to plunder a huge dragon's treasure! COme with us! IC: *rana dashes off towards the dead black dragon's cave*

*looks up from cleaning the blood and scales off of her talons* Hey! *spits a scale out to the side* Hey, wait for me! *bounds after Rana* Dibs on any pretty necklaces!

*rushes into the giant dragon's cave* Dibs on silver bracelets! *she calls...when a quiet mewl is heard in the back of the cave* What's that?? *peers further inside the cave, trying to picture it, but fails* Hey Raina, check this out! I think something is still in here!

*tilts her head to the side* Hmm? *listens* Ahh... *turns about and uproots a small dead tree from outside of the cave and lights the top with her flame. She sets it to the side, the fire flickering gently and bathing the cavern in light* Can you see it?

*peers very very closely* hmm... *sees a small huddled shape in the dark* I think it's a baby!

A baby? *coos, shuffling her wings gently, and moves toward the small shape* A little one...maybe?...

*rana sends out her mind to the samll creature, hoping to make friendly contact, when a wash of pain and anguish swoops over her, so deep and penentrating it brings her to her knees* ahhhhoooohhh...gaahhhhhh...heeeellppp....*rana digs into the rocky ground with her bare hands, trying to alleviate some of the pain* *she attempts to bring her mind back, but the creature has ensnared it, trapping rana's mind in the pain*

*shrieks and torches the wall near her small opponent, distracting it long enough for it to release Rana's mind. Raina grabs the half-elf's shirt in her teeth and barrels out of the cave, transferring Rana to her back as she takes wing, flying to rest on a ledge a fair distance away*

*rana collapses onto the ledge, gasping for breath* *after she is able to calm down some, she stands up with a very determined look on her face* That creature was being tortured, I just know it. We need to go back and save it!!

*nods* If you're completely certain, then you're right. However, we can't go back in there without knowing what to do. Do you think that it can cause damage without a mental connection, and can it establish such a connection without our permission or control? If we don't consider and just go back there without thinking, we won't get far at all.

Hmmm...you're right. *rana thinks for a moment, then her head flashes up as though she has an idea* I know! *two large spheres of water appear out of Rana's hand, one going to hover in front of Raina, the other stays in front of Rana* *with a whispered word, two tiny sparkles float down from the emblem on Rana's forehead and immerse themselves in the spheres* *the sparkles look like mettalic rainbows the size of water drops, and they make the whole sphere take on the same appearence* Alright, this is your helmet. I want you to take this and solidify it around your entire head. It's ok, you'll be able to see through it, but there is no way in the world that that creature can penetrate the helmet to attack your mind. With this, we can get as close as we want to the creature without feeling anything mentally, but it doesn't protect from physical attacks at all. Also, don't cast your mind out, or you may not be able to get back in. I don't know what the creature can do physically, so I don't know how to protect you from anything yet. OOC: The helmet works like a mirror. The essence I put in the spheres are two drops of true silver, which makes the water mirror anything that comes at it, even mental probes. As long as you keep it around your entire head, nothing can get in. However, since it is a MIRROR, the creature will feel double the amount of pain as long as it keeps broadcasting its mind at you. As soon as it stops, so does the extra pain. So...this should work ok.

*shuffles her wings gently and encases her noggin in the helmet thinger-jiggy* Well....I guess we're ready then...*looks over her shoulder toward the cave* Do we have any plan at all??

Well...we find the thing that's hurting that creature and then...*an evil smile glimmers across Rana's face* We kick butt! *jumps on a water tightrope and takes off, not checking to see if Raina is following*

*flares her wings and takes off after Rana, bellowing loudly* Careful now, Rana! Don't get too cocky. *chortles softly and sails past the little half-elf*

OOC: Battle rage mode has no fear!!! LOL! IC: *races raina to the cavern, rushing on her water tightrope as fast as she can* *reaching the cavern, Rana just barely tumbles forward into it as Raina glides gracefully in* Alright, we're in. Remember, no sending your thoughts out, and be careful! *walks forward slowly, eyes searching each dark wall*

*flicks her tail gently a few moments after her talons touch stone* Wait a sec, Rana...it's too dark. *nips the back of Rana's shirt and pulls her back to a gentle stop* Give me a sec... *Raina dives over the edge of the cliff to the valley far below, her talons skimming across the sheer stone wall as she goes, collecting up dried and broken brush. After a few long moments she returns with a fair amount of dead plant material and sets it ablaze at the mouth of the cave. Raina watches as the flames rise and flicker, painting the walls with light and gentle shadows* Is that better?

*nods* *draws out Mizu, which glows a strange purplish color in light of the fire* I think with this we'll be able to find our way. *Continues forward in the cave, taking very wary steps*

*nods and follows, a deep, quiet rumble vibrating within the dragon's chest not much unlike the growl of a leopard. Raina walks forward, her head raised high above the half-elf's, arcing back and forth warily....suddenly her scales begin to tingle awkwardly, a feel almost like that of electricity dancing across her skin and growing more violent as she continues forward through the cave. The dragoness stops, and so does the increase of the strange sensation, stalling and staying at the same level...she grows a bit dizzy and uncertain. Raina dances on her claws like a nervous mare* Erm...Rana...

*Rana has noticed the buzzing too, and steps back so that she's directly next to Raina* I think...that's the source of our problem. Imagine what it would do if we weren't protected! *Rana meditates for a few moments, drawing out two more miniscule droplets of true silver* *placing one in each helmet, the buzzing decreases significantly* *it's not enough to silence it, but it is enough to weaken it, and allow us to move further* *Rana walks for a while longer, until deep in the cave she is able to hear the pained mewls of the creature* THERE IT IS!! *Rana runs forward*

*Raina rumbles softly and bounds after her friend, her wings pressed close to her sides. After a few long moments she spots the little creature huddled against the wall...and a dark shadow looming behind it, beyond the flickering light of the flames* Rana! Do you see that??

O.O *Rana has stopped dead short, staring at the black mass behind the creature, which can now be identified as a baby Griffin* Ummm...I know this creature. It...or something like it...haunted a village in Kietsu a long time ago. I almost got killed by it. *The buzzing noise is coming close to bcoming unbearble, despite the advanced helmets* *Rana draws a huge amount of water out of her palm, creating a globbing mass of water wiggling above her hand* *she puts a large drop of true silver in the water, then places it securely around the baby griffin, who seems to visibly relax afterward* *rana looks like a withered fruit afterward, and holds Mizu in an offensive posture* Raina, get as much water out of you as possible, you don't want to have a sound-carrier in you when you fight this guy. *With a slowly climaxing battle cry, Rana charges at the black mass, slashing Mizu at it*

*Raina's wings flare menacingly as she lets the water leave through her talons...she hisses softly at the slight empty feeling she has afterward, but shakes her scarlet head and barrels forward, her teeth glinting in the gentle firelight behind her. She aims and spits a great ball of flame to the right of the black creature, careful to aim so that the baby griffin isn't even touched* Who's getting the baby?!

*Rana stabs Mizu at the creature, feeling only a seperation of smoke as the sword merely passes through* Ummm...*holds a hand out towards the griffin, pushing it along with the water bubble well out of the way of the fight* I can't go any farther...*the black beast roars and punches Rana in the stomach, grabbing her entire torso with it's other hand* *a huge vibration shoots through Rana's body, visibly shaking her like she's being electrocuted* ahhh..aAHh...ahhhAHHHh....*Rana shakily grabs Mizu and slashes it down toward the hand that's holding her, blocking the flow of power* *the hand drops Rna, and she crumples, completely immobolized for a few seconds*

*shrieks as Rana hits the floor and charges forward, small tongues of flame spilling over her bottom jaw as she engulfs the beast in flame and crouches by Rana's side protectively. Raina roars at the beast and bathes it in a continuous wall of fire, uncertain of its effectiveness*

*suddenly appaears beside the fire* 0-0 whats happening?

OOC: @Silveera: We entered a dead dragon's cave to go treasure hunting but we found a baby griffin in a lot of pain that screeches really painfully in your mind if you get too close, and the thing that's causing it pain is a shadow-creature that transmits huge blasts of sound energy and long-range vibrations to rival earthquakes. IC: *Rana groggily sits up, then shoots awake as the shadow monster reaches down to grab Raina* *Rana jumps up and flings Mizu at the creatures arm, where it travels all the way up it, getting slower and slower until Mizu is completely stopped* *slowly, it's bright blue glow dulls as the shadow creature "swallows" Mizu* Oh...crap *Rana jumps at the creature, clawing and scratching at it, trying futilely to grab her sword* (It feels like digging through cotton candy and getting nowhere*

*crouches and lunges forward, her incredibly sharp claws raking from the top of the creature to the bottom, black wisps curling around the dragoness's talons. Raina roars, shifts into her more agile form, and claws over and over, easily dodging the shadow creature's arms as it tries to grasp her. But after a few moments she makes a mistake and is thrown against the wall by the creature*

*Races forward, Sanguine in my hands* *reaching the shadow-creature, I swing the blade down.... only for it to part through like Rana's Mizu* Dammit... what works against this thing! *A blast of sound hits me in the chest, nocking the wind out of me, and causing me to fall to my knees* ouch *I'm suddenly slamed ito the side of the cave with a sickening crunch*

*The shadow creature pins Raina against the wall, giving her the same earth-quaking vibration treatment he gave Rana, forcing her to a very painful paralysis* *rana glances over at Raina, and ROARS, plunging both hands deep into the shadow creature's arm, just barely touching Mizu* *calling it with all her might, Mizu inches closer, until Rana can finally grasp it* *yanking it out, Rana dashes towards Raina* *she slashes straight across the shadow creature's arm, diverting the vibrations from Raina through the sword and into Rana's arms, shaking them violently* *eventually, the arm lets go, but the shadow creature develops four, new, long, agile arms* *two arms chase after Rana, who dodges and jumps and rolls, stabbing Mizu everywhere but doing little damage* *two other arms succeed in caging the paralyzed Raina, continuing their "treatment"* *The last two arms grab Silveera, flinging her from one side of the cave to the other, seeming intent on breaking as many bones as possible* OOC: Need a weakness...can't think of a weakness...*stressing out*

*writhes and cries out, but concentrates...thinking that maybe she could fight fire with fire. She takes a deep breath and roars mightily, shaking bites of stone from the cave roof and rattling the bones of her companions...but she cannot see if it was successful*

*The vibrations of Raina's roar meld with the vibrations of the shadow creature* *being contrasting wavelengths, both sounds weaken considerably* *Rana is fighting towards Raina, trying to free her from the cage* *she notices the lack of buzzing from the arms nearby* *she stabs deeply at the arm nearest her, and a viscous black liquid pours out* *the shadow creature bellows deeply, deafening everyone near it and causing all of three of them to fall and clutch their ears desperately*

AHHHhhhh CRUNCH *after being slamed into the walls multipul times, I finaly remeber my portals* *as the creature goes to throw me again. I vanish a reappear behind it* *My right arm, several ribs and my hip are shattered or broken and my left leg is dislocated. I can barly stand as blood poors from the many cuts, gashes and one deep wound in my side where a spike of rock stabbed me*

OOC: Oh dear... IC: *Hearing Silveera shout, and then the sickening crunch, Rana races over to her, stabbing other shadow parts in her way* *one arm is still clutching her ear, and she runs rather wobbily, but eventually sees Silveera and reaches her* Here...*she pulls out a small healing orb, and shoves it into Silveera's body, where it races around quickly but not completely healing most of her more serious wounds* That's the most I can do...*an arm finally catches up to Rana, grabbing her tightly around her head* AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! *Rana shrieks as the vibration breaks through her helmet, shattering it into hundreds of pieces on the ground* Rana writhes in agony, totally unable to control her motions*

*cries out and attacks her cage repeatedly, fighting through the bellows and shrieks. Finally she breaks through, covered in the black liquid. She cries out to both of her companions and slashes at the arm around Rana, trying desperately to free her*

*Rana tries to roar, to nullify the vibrating effects, but since her head is captured, she can only make a similar sounds, which just amplifies the effects even more*

*the dragoness's eyes flicker back and forth desperately...and the only thing she can think of is to bellow loudly, her cry ending in a shrill shriek*

OOC: I need to go after this... IC: *the sounds slightly nullifies the vibration in Rana's body, allowing her to slowly and painfully reach Mizu up to block the rest of the vibration* *the shadow creature flings Rana to the stone wall, listening as you can plainly hear several bones crack and Rana tumbles to the floor, Mizu flung to the ground far away* unnnhhh.... OOC: Bye, luv ya! <3

OOC: Bye bye, Rana! Love ya too!! <3 IC: *cries out and looks around* Rana! Silveera!! *Raina trembles and decides that enough is enough. She runs forward and snatches up Rana's shirt in her jaws, running her back to the mouth of the cave and setting her there, going back for Silveera. On her way back to the edge of the cave the beast snaps at her side and cracks two of her ribs, but still she runs on to lay Silveera down. She calls to the water that encases the babe and takes it up in her jaws, her eyes going wide as the shadow beast's arms near her. She grabs Mizu in her hind claws and runs, shoving her companions from the cave and into the air, diving after them as they plummet toward the earth. Raina dips below them and rolls onto her back in mid-flight, catching both Rana and Silveera within her front legs and tucking them into her chest. She flies off with all of her speed and strength, leaving the black beast far behind*

*Rana slowly comes to consciousness as the air whips past her face* *looking around, she notices Silveera right next to her, and can feel Mizu behind her* *looking up, she sees Raina's head and the baby griffin crying in her jaws* *rana shakes her head to get the last cobwebs out of her mind, and slowly calls for Mizu* *it wiggles, realeasing itself from raina's grasp, dips, then comes back toward Rana's hand* *using the water power from Mizu, Rana creates a water cushion beneath herself and Silveera, floating in the air beneath them* Ok Raina, drop us! I can get Silveera and myself down to safety!

*shakes her head slowly in refusal until she spots the water cushion...she reluctantly lets Rana and Silveera go, her talons gently slipping across their skin harmlessly. Raina circles above with the baby still in her jaws, watching the air and land protectively despite her cracked ribs*

*Rana plainfully moves her arms, keeping the huge water cushion floating and swirling, holding both herself and SIlveera as they float gently to the ground* *finally, all the very top level of water if above the ground, and Rana reabsorbs all the water back into her sword, and collapses*

*lights down next to her companions carefully, her head drooping with exhaustion. She puts the baby down and quiets it...turns to Rana* Are you...are you two okay?

*turns slowly to look at Raina* Take this...heal us...I can't do it myself...*Rana seems to be concentrating feircely on something, and soon, a tiny, translucent silver bead floats through the air towards Raina* Use this...heal us... *The bead embeds itself in Raina's forehead, and she immediately feels strengthened, with a much closer connection to the water inside her, and the life and healing power that she has left in her body. The bead seems to show her how to use this power, making it very easy to control and use* Rana: Heal...silveera...first, she is more...wounded...

*crosses her eyes and looks up at the bead in her noggin, giving Rana a slight bit of comic relief before stepping over the little half-elf and crouching near Silveera. Raina sets one claw upon Silveera's chest, gasping quietly as power blossoms within her form and into her companion, flooding the much smaller being's body and healing every inch. As the power begins to fade, the remnants flowing back through her talon, Raina turns to Rana and does the same, the little half-elf's body willingly accepting the healing power much quicker than Silveera's. After a few moments there are only small scars left, and the dragoness curls around her to companions, the baby between her front claws and under her arched neck*

*Rana shakily stands up, and smiles warmly at Raina* Thank you. *closing her eyes, she palces her hand on Raina's forehead, transferring her healing power through the gem, which amplifies it greatly and sends it coursing through Raina's entire body, healing all her wounds* *Rana pulls her hand back, drawing the silver bead with it as it floats back to Rana's forehead* *she opens her eyes and smiles, releasing the shield around the baby griffin so she can give it a good huggle*

*smiles at Rana* Thank you... *growls softly when the little half-elf moves to hug the baby but catches herself and bites her tongue, realizing she's quite taken with the little one and has become almost terrifyingly motherly*

*sends very gentle, calming thoughts to both the baby AND Raina, assuring each that she poses no threat whatsoever* OOC: I've become a bit motherly myself... IC: *coos over the baby griffin, ignoring the extremely faint high-pitched rumbling in the distance*

*chortles softly then raises her head, turning it slowly back and forth, surveying the horizon...growls quietly and flares her wings around Rana and the baby*

*Rana looks up suspiciously, then notices the noise* What? NOO! *immediately sets up the guard again around the baby griffin, and hands him to silveera* Here, please take him to safety, and then come back so we can kick this ever-annoying noise-maker's butt! *silveera nods, and takes off, while Rana draws mizu and turns to face the ever-growing rumble*

Raina's eyes flick across the land as her talons work into the earth, a deep growl rumbling within her chest...the scales on the back of her neck hackle as fierceness courses through her veins, eventually causing her to roar ferociously in warning and challenge*

OOC: Nah, this battle is for real. We have mroe space to move around, so we can avoid the arms more, but we needz to take out this guy!! *slams fist into palm* IC: *The shadow monster slowly descends into the clearing, hissing painfully* *sevaral arms sprout from its torso, slowly looking for victims* *Rana jumps over one as it sweeps underneath her* Oh no you're not! RAAAAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! *she rushes forward on foot, dodging all the arms and plunging Mizu directly into the center of it* *the monster screams, but then recoils, seemingly unhurt at all* AH!! *Rana jumps away as all the arms chase after her, running off on a water tight-rope*

*unleashes a bellowing cry and takes wing immediately following Rana's attack, swooping down across the arms following the little half-elf and grasping them in her talons, ripping and tearing at them while effectively throwing them off and allowing Rana to distance herself and prepare another attack. The dragoness growls as her claws slip through the arms and skip away, but she wheels on the wing and attacks the monster head-on, a continual wave of flame washing across the center of the beast. Raina gets knocked head-over-talons by an arm* Ahh!!! Grrrr---AW!!!! *flips and catches herself, the tip of her longest wing-limb snapping against the ground with a quiet crack as her wings flare and send her back into the sky. The dragoness flies up and away for a moment, searching for weaknesses*

*Rana swerves back to recombine with Raina* Alright, I have an idea! *Rana begins to form an extremely thin tendril of water from her position out of reach of the monster towards the monster itself* *the tendril grows faster and faster, swerving away from the monster's flailing arms, the plunges directly into the beast's chest* *Rana immediately drops a bit of truesilver in the tendril, making it solid and still, but insubstantial enough so it can't break* *creating a funnel on Rana's side, Rana turns to Raina* Now, scream in here for all you're worth!!

OOC: That'd be sweet! I'd totally buy it as a necklace or something! IC: *after forming the water tendril, rana swoops down and begins to harry the monster from below, stabbing him with hundred os water spikes* *they embed themselves in his body, filling him to the brim with sound-amplifying water* *whispers* Time to give you a taste of your own medicine...

Hold your ears! *rises up to where Rana had been before, take a deep breath, and screeches, the shrillness and sheer volume enough to deafen any and cause extreme pain. Raina takes another breath and repeats the process, the force of the scream coaxing tendrils of flame to flicker down into the beast as well, lighting up its center*

*the screeches carry to the very core of the beast's body, and the water in his body only amplifies the sound* *the screeches are the exact opposite of his own vibration, causing him to shake violently* *at the second scream, he raises all his arms in the air and explodes, dissipating in mid-air* *Rana unplugs her ears and does a happy dance right there* HAHA! We beat him!!

*starts laughing hysterically as the monster explodes. Falls to the ground and rolls on her back, her talons kicking in the air* He....*giggle-snort* exploded! Ahahaha...serves him right, the big bully! *blows a raspberry at the non-existent beast and stares at her broken wing-finger* Oh...oww...hahaha

Oh...oops! *Rana quickly sends over a small healing ball which fixes it right up* Well...that was a quick win...

*flips onto her talons, waggling her healed wingtip* Thanks! Hmm...well...where's the baby? *looks around, her eyes scanning the area*

Idk...silveera took it somewhere.... hmm...*begins searching the nearby forest*

*comes stumbling out from behind a tree in furdragon form, the baby griffon firmly attached to the mane on the back of my head making a giggly-clucking noise while pulling on my ears* *Looks at Rana and Raina, a rather displeased look on my face* If this brat doesn't stop pulling my ears, I may resort to violence -'___'-

awww....don't hurt the baby griffin!!!! *pulls baby griffin gently from silveera's mane* So...where do we take this little fellow???
