That's so cute Delbin! XD I didn't know Rana meant frog in Latin until I came across it in my latin book. ANyway, as per usual with you, the anatomy and pose and shading is great, however, the tail seems a bit too thick at its base. Also...why is flower boy suckling a pacifier?? O.o

haha thanks guys Rana. his tail is thick cuz i tried to get him to look like a baby and they are usually disproportionate lol so thas also why he has a pacifier. lol but i see waht you mean bout the tail

haha i know what you mean. i came up with him a looooonng time ago and i dont thnk i even planned him to be "me." it just...happened. and it got to the point where i cant change him or my fantasy self even if i wanted to. ive connected to it i guess. ya know? but i did make a weird way to connect. Delbin discovered a spell that he made to change himslef into a human to observe them without fear of being discovered. obviously he meant to change into a human man but turned out the incantation was so precise that one mispronunciation at the slip of the tongue caused it to mess up and make him a human female. he can switch back and forth between and had to get used to it but was and still is able to do it since its a permanent spell. but because of the mishap he made the spell illegal for further use. lol. so yeah...bottom line is that i dont really know why or how it came to "me" being a male dragon but it is now and i dont plan on changing it cuz i feel like i cant. its too deeply rooted for me.

So it's kinda like Ranma 1/2 with the cold water! XD And I know what you mean...Jenu started out as fictional characters on a fictional planet, and then slowly the personlities changed so that they matched me, and their planet became my mind. ...It's weird...

yeah kinda like that show. ive never seen it but i know about it. just Delbin can change back at forth at will. it doesnt depend on things like water like in Ranma 1/2. haha imaginations are always weird. to be honest i dont thnk anyones imagination is sane. anyone who tells you otherwise is deprived and thinks logically too much. lol. i even had a girl in my senior class ask me obnoxiously why i draw dragons cuz theyre not even real. why not draw something real like flowers and stuff? LULZ. oh yeah cuz you SO can come up with infinite designs of flowers and give them unique traits. (im not saying it cant be done but its a lot easier to do that with something that doesnt truly exist like dragons. we can make em look like however we want! lol)

I totally agree with that! I like drawing real stuff, don't get me wrong. But fantasy has no rules, no guidelines. You can make whatever the heck you want without worrying about it's realisticness! I've told people that before and they just kinda look at me like O.o..."Oookay." I'm glad we share the same basic idea.

And, you know, sometimes reality is overrated. Sometimes you'd rather get out of the real world and imagine something totally unique and cool and magical like dragons and not have to worry about stupid reality. Which is fine, so long as you don't go too crazy with and totally lose touch with reality.

@ Rana: Once you lose touch with reality you start making all kinds of weird stuff...like surreal art. I enjoy surreal art...but only if it fits my, uh, ideas of what it should be like. Eh heh...

In my mind, there's a certain way surreal art should be like...and ways it shouldn't be like. It's hard to explain...in other words, I like only certain surreal artists whose techniques fit into my "liking category."

im the same way. for me, im not a huge fan of modern art. it just doesnt make any sense to me. you can dump a bucket of blue paint and it can be called a masterpiece worth millions. but surreal is different. it still has a definable theme to it and stuff. though for me it can be a fine line.

Hmmm...idk...I haven't really studied art enough to know the difference between what I like and what I don't like. I guess I'd just look at the art individually and decide from there
