*opens eyes and sees a kangaroo rat staring at me*

*wakes up and shakes head to get the sand outtah ma ears*

EEP! *slashes at the snake's eyes*

*picks up babydrgn and dragns her away from the snake* *the snake reels back in pain and flings its head around wildly* *it burrows back in the sand* um i dont want to speak to soon, but i think its gone! *sand begins to rumble more* uh oh..i spoke too soon...*4 more snakes appear* *an empty cave is seen to the left*

*kangaroo rat hops away. i get up and just barely miss getting bit by the giant snake* oh now its on snakey!

*sits there*

*tries to the grab on to the snake's back but is tossed off*

*slashes the snake with my tail, tearing red lines in its hide*

quick run into the cave!

*runs* *snakes try to follow us but are too heavy for the sand* *they sink into a sinkhole, hissing angrily*

*entets the cave, then starts to explore*

*makes a campfire to help light the cave, using dead bushes*

hmm...*peers outside where a blast of cold air hits me in the face* BRRRR! *comes and sits by fire* we are going to be dragon-cikles before this is over!

*wlaks in calmly and looks around* well this is great were i na cave ...... were all gonna die (i have to g onow bysies)

i dont really know.... we should probably shelter in here though. those snakes cant come in here *roasts a vulture over the fire*

*licks lips, then tears off a leg and munches on it* it even tastes a lot like chicken!

um jade be careful... *munches on chicken (i mean vulture!)*

*walks over and hears a crunch* *looks down and sees a shattered skull* uhhh... *looks up and sees a skeleton*

*finishes leg then goes over to jade* something wrong? *looks up and sees skeleton*

*turns green* uh guys im not hungry no more...*runs to far corner of cave and kneels over*

*pats Dspice on the back* it doesn't...really..look...human. *takes a closer look* too bad i stepped on the skull..

no it doesnt *tries not to look as dspice tosses her cookies*

eeehhh...*wipes mouth* the fact that there could be dead non-human things here doesnt make me feel better...

don't think that! *glances around hurriedly* maybe a demon or something?

maybe an old something came here and died quietly of old age?

oh gee, that makes me feel a WHOLE lit better...*stands up* please tell me there arent any other nasty things in here *as i talk u can see my breath fogging* well it's reached nightfall...*shivers*

*builds the fire up higher* come over here, its warm *pats a spot next to the fire*

hmm...maybe. *a slight rustling at the very far back of the cave goes unoticed*

*another rat runs by squeaking with a red gash on its side*

the rats are probably fighting over food

*watches the rat run out of the cave and turns back to the fire* *in the back of the cave two large glittering eyes blink and move*

*stares at fire, shaking slightly*

*turns and breathes fire in that direction, lighting up the creature*

*pauses rp* you can say what the creature is, i was just lighting it up *plays rp*

wait..so what should it be? *fire stops midway in lighting it up*

um it should be a basilisk! (lol at the fire pausing thing!)

um ok so its a baslisk?

sure..*unpauses and the fire lights up a huge basalisk with glittering gold eyes and emerald green scales. it grins, revealing large sharp fangs with a flickering forked tongue. a row of spines run along its back* umm...meep!

ok *resumes rp and fire lights up basilisk* holy.... crap.... thats a fricken basilisk!

oh gawd me and my big fat mouth...DONT LOOK AT ITS EYES!

*glances quickly at the entrance and sees the rat with a gash lying down*

*looks at its eyes. it cant kill me because im a dragon, but it seems to hold me there, like im in a trance*

oh man IT HAS TIAMAT! *reaches for tiamat's arm and pulls her back* TIAMAT WAKE UP!

*shakes head* uhhh my head.... *basilisk hisses and tries to get one of us to look at it*

*stares at the snake* lalalalala, you can't get me! *shoves Tiamat aside* don't look!

ok i have an idea...*picks up dead rat and chunks it at the basilisks eyes* *it hits it in the eyes* *basilisk screams in pain, tossing it's head side to side*

*basilisk shakes its head and the rat flings against the wall. the basilisk blinks a couple times**basilisk shrieks and i look at it and gaze into its eyes once more* basilisk: jussssst give yoursssselvessss up. i wont hurt you. jusssst look into my eyesssss.

*shakes Tiamat* STOP IT!! hehe, i'm friends with the phoenixes..maybe i should call one like HP? or i could change to phoenix form...

*shakes, struggling to fight the trance**basilisk wraps its body in a circle around us, completely blocking the entrance of the cave* basilisk: give yoursssselvesss up and i wont hurt you!

hecks yeah! *turns tiamat around aaway from basilisk* UR NOT GETTING MY FRIEND OR ANY OF US!

*bites down hard*

*bites basilisk on the back of the neck* grrrr jade if u'd be so kind as to TURN INTO A PHEONIX SO WE DONT DIE!

*shakes, then turns around again, in a trance**basilisk smiles and and says "get you friendssss to sssssurrender"*

*basalisk squeezes a little tighter* basalisk: ssssssssurrender... me: ow ow ow!! my wings!! *changes to phoenix form and slips out of the coils* *dive-bombs Tiamat* WAKE UP!!!

*snorts out a small jet of fire* i know that! *feathers turn to fire and dives at the basalisk's eye and tries to slash at it*

*i leap in the way at the basilisks command, unable to control my actions. jade hits me*

*shrieks and changes back to the normal phoenix to avoid burning Tiamat* ARGGH!! basalisk: give up...you can't possssssibly win...

ok then...*turns into little camo lizard and frantically scratches basilisks eyes*

*the basilisk turns to dspice suddenly, trying to look into her eyes**i pick dspice up at basilisks command and hold her up to stare at the basilisks eyes*

*helps Dspice and distracts the basalisk by diving at its eyes*

*closes eyes and keeps scratching*

*i guard the basilisks eyes against my control, making it nearly impossible to reach its eyes*

sorry Tiamat....*changes to fire and dives at Tiamat* heehe..nearly impossible..

*the basilisk closes its eyes, covering them with its heavy eyelids**i stand there, waiting for a command from the basilisk*

ergh! *struggles* dont do it jade! attack the basilisk! *my voice is hard to hear because i am so small*

*winks, and pulls up at the last minute and pecks at line where the eyelid closes* (if that just made any sense)

(yes i got it) *attempts to wriggle free of tiamts grip*

*the basilisk keeps its eyes closed and says "ssssurrender. i can make you friend tiamat do whatever i want. i could make her jump in my mouth, and thatssss the end of your friend. or i could make her kill hersssself..."**the basilisk lingers on the threat*
