Maybe you're not phrasing the question properly.

It all depends on whether dragons such as, say, the ice dragon and European dragon, are different species or variants of the same.

Post subject:  Re: half and half

You could take humans as an example for that as well

personally i think that it is very likely that they can interbreed

Post subject:  Re: half and half

ok I agree with falconer( not sure of Ire's idea though, Don't really think dragon and human DNA could mix in good ways)

but before we continue
CAN SOMEONE PLZ EXPLAIN TO ME HOW I AM RUDE!!! that statement bin itching on the back of my skull for some time now and I need help to understand how am I being rude???? :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical: :skeptical:

Post subject:  Re: half and half

I didn't mean that humans could hybridize with dragons i only meant that humans can mix with other races of humans ie asian, african, european, etc

and Drakes it is not that you are rude personally it is just the way you state things i know you don't think you are being rude but to some people it just sounds rude to them even though you weren't being rude

Hope that helps you see why she thought you rude

*are those storm clouds?*

Well the answer is no. The main reason is the few animals what have breeds within a species are domesticated animals. We humans have select bread different creatures for choice attributes. So I would guess dragons do not have breeds like that, they being wild creatures.

Finally some one explains to me this wole rude thing
LOL vamp. each time you come you always say something that makes me fight you lol
LET THE BATTLE BEGIN! LOL
( sad thing is that you know it is true vamp LOL )

Well if dragons has the inteligance of a human it would be able to do the same when picking a mate :)

Well reading up on that, this is not an easy one. I guess you are thinking about mixed "race" unions. And I will need to read up a bit more on what is going on with this.

But seeing the different body shapes and abilities of dragons from different parts of the world, I don't think they are "breeds" of a species of dragon. Yes there may be a red and a white European dragon, and they may be able to mate. But I don't think that is a breed thing. The color changes may be the same thing as you see in other animals. Like a gray and orange cat can be come from the same mother and both be the same "breed".

I kinda agree but I do think there are mainy difrent breeds of dragons that are able to mate together.

Post subject:  Re: half and half

as i mentioned earlier take humans for an example there are a lot of different races of human and we can all breed and we weren't domesticated or forced it just happens naturally

true

Post subject:  Re: half and half

But all humans have 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head, 8 fingers, 2 thumbs, 10 toes, 2 eyes and other stuff that all humans have. Dragons as many of you have said in the other posts have different body shapes and limb numbers, they are not the same species they are not breeds of each other.

some of them could be though, some of them could be suffering from a disorder that even humans have where two people are stuck together, happens during development

If that turns out to be the answer, I will eat my hat. Siamese twins are the exception, not the norm... the likelihood that that many dragons have congenital defects is absurd.

Post subject:  Re: half and half

unless it is more common in dragons, that would increase the chances

Author:  Drakel [ Sun Dec 13, 2009 2:19 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: half and half

I kinda agree with falconer on this one.

Author:  Forgotten Dragon's Ire [ Sun Dec 13, 2009 2:57 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: half and half

i think that those FEW defects were so different from the norm that people made it out that there were a lot of them instead of their actual number( a few)

true one headed dragons do appear more commonly
